History
The Arc of Cass County is a nonprofit organization formed in 1956. Over the years, The Arc has been instrumental in gaining and retaining the rights of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities(IDD). In the early 1980’s, our chapter partnered with The Arc of North Dakota in a lawsuit that moved care for people with IDD from institutional-based to community-based. The Arc of Cass County currently focuses on protecting disability rights and providing social and educational programs for people with IDD. The Arc Attic Treasures thrift stores fund our programs and services.
